About The Summer Youth Employment Program

The Urban Affairs Coalition Summer Youth Employment program provides paid summer job opportunities and internships for youth ages 14-18. The Summer Youth Employment Program consists of programs that offer participants the opportunity to explore their interests and career paths and engage in learning experiences that will help them improve their financial literacy, leadership, and collaborative skills. Youth participants must live in Philadelphia.

It's Time To Apply to the Summer Program

The Summer Application page is open and currently accepting applications.  Here are few key tips.

Each applicant must create a user account.

Locating the Program
Our program is listed on the application as Urban Affairs Coalition.

Program Rankings Matter
Applicants will be given the option to select multiple programs and give each program a ranking. When ranking the program selections, place Urban Affairs Coalition at the first position. By doing this, Urban Affairs Coalition will be the first organization to see the application. This will allow our team to review the application and connect the applicant to their desired summer experience. Once an application is submitted, rankings will not be able to be changed.
