Spark Youth Engagement is a program that helps young people gain the essential soft skills they need to succeed in school, the workplace, and beyond. Running concurrently with the academic school year, the program provides consistent learning and growth opportunities that support students both inside and outside the classroom.

Key Skills Participants Build:

  • Communication – Learn how to express ideas clearly, listen actively, and adapt to different audiences.
  • Teamwork – Practice collaborating with others, respecting diverse perspectives, and achieving shared goals.
  • Problem-Solving – Strengthen critical thinking and creative approaches to overcome challenges.
  • Leadership – Develop confidence in guiding peers, taking initiative, and being a positive influence.
  • Adaptability – Gain the flexibility to adjust to change, new environments, and unexpected situations.
  • Professionalism – Understand workplace etiquette, responsibility, and the importance of a strong work ethic.

By aligning with the school year, Spark Youth Engagement reinforces academic learning while equipping youth with the personal and professional skills needed for long-term success in their careers and communities.
